A Note To Peter:
When I think of DaVinci- the word genius pops to mind.
... Genius: Hero? Saint?
This idea of
... self-fulfillment and self- mastery through achievement and
... the overcoming of obstacles
remains the commitment that “eats up” my life
... in the search for perfection-
this has been my experience-
... and seems to be yours.

There was a period in my life
... (maybe there still is) when
I identified my self-hood in relation to others and
... their “needs-wants-desires”
(human or divine).
.
My desire of caring, concern and the sense of responsibility was and
... remains the expression of my passions
which at the core is the way
... I love or
refuse to love.
.
So it right that we, as you mention, suffer.
Our sin is great.
.
We were not promised that we would be happy.
... We were promised that we would Suffer.
My experience is like the man that Kafka describes in his “Metamorphous”:
... where I woke up one day and discovered that
I had been turned into a giant insect.
... I think like a man- not an insect-
only looking like an insect.
.
I have been coping with this new body for years!
.
We find ourselves in very strange circumstances throughout life and
... in those strange and absurd situations
we must figure out whom we are
…and what we are supposed to do.

I have chosen to
WORK + STUDY + TRAVEL
