“ Ministry is more than a “pat on the back and a prayer”.
+
The Ministry to individuals and their families in the time of grave illness and death suggests a period of profound preparation and personal reflection to enter into this sacred work.
+
“Those seriously interested in this ministry and become of the “team” that counsels and serves both the individual and the family members.”

BEDSIDE VISITS
.
1::: Depending upon the circumstance or illness (s) many individuals often have a hard time speaking, remembering, and have difficulty of "catching" their breath and cough a lot.
.
2 ::: And, when toxins are present, as when the internal organs are failing (liver for example), sensory perceptions are affected and the individual may become "rude and angry" without realizing the impact of their responses. (i.e. Cholangiocarcinoma)
.
3 ::: The Chaplian should not take these comments personally ... It is just the condition.
